I love cities and urban living, so the “This Big City” Tumblr is perfect. It’s an outpost of the This Big City site, and showcases lots of urban design and clever ideas. Last week they posted this image of flowers planted in a newspaper box. There was no mention of where it was taken, but I recognized the street immediately. This is Spadina Avenue in Toronto, at the part where it runs through Chinatown. Quirky things like this is what I miss about Toronto, but I get to visit again in October!
