VERSION 1 – For publishing-related talks (current as of January 2015)

Eva Amsen is Outreach Director for F1000Research, an open science publishing platform offering immediate publication, transparent peer review (post-publication) and full data deposition and sharing. Eva holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, and is interested in all aspects of communication between researchers. Before joining F1000Research, she worked at the journal Development, where she launched and ran the Node, a community website for developmental biologists.

VERSION 2 – Slightly different version, suitable for less publishing-focussed talks, includes vague reference to SciBarCamp and other non-work projects. (current as of January 2015)
