Imagine Science Film Festival 2008

by Eva Amsen

The Imagine Science Film Festival runs from October 16-25 in New York City. They put a few trailers and films up on Vimeo, and they’re all worth watching. Of course, if you’re in NYC that week, or able to make it there, you might want to attend the festival itself, but for the rest of us the internet will do.

Here’s a video about fruit flies. I like the montage of people on the street talking about fruit flies, because even though most people talked about rotting fruit, some did think about genetics when they saw the flies.

Addendum: A year later, I would have a film at the festival myself!
