“Squishy! Squishy Cow!”
“Zzzz….”
“SQUISHY!!”
“Zzzz…WHAT? What’s going on? Where’s all the furniture?”
minimal furniture, yesterday
“We’re moving… How long were you asleep?”
“I was hibernating. It’s cold outside.”
Cold outside, last week
“Look, you’re famous on the internet!”
“What’s this then?”
“Your post was runner-up for best Nature Network blog post of 2009.”
“I’m special!”
“You’re even more special, because you’re also going to be in a book.”
“Yay! I read a book once, but it wasn’t about me.”
“This one is not entirely about you either. There are 49 other blog posts in it, and none of them are about squishy cows.”
“Any other kind of cows maybe?”
“No. But there are entries about lots of other kinds of animals, and also another one about animal research, so you’ll feel right at home.”
“Good. Because I don’t really feel at home here after what you did with the place. Everything is in boxes or gone altogether…”

Good luck with the move, Squishy!
Congratulations on getting into Open Lab – you must be delighted.
(And, shouldn’t it be slow ascenT ? [/pedant])
Oops, it should… Fixing now.
When squishy cows hibernate to they go all deflated?
Congrats on getting into Open Lab, Squishy Cow!
After your move, you’ll be just across the North Sea from the land of your -squishy- Friesian ancestors.
I trust Squishy Cow is up to date with her vaccinations (no pun intended or delivered) so as to avoid any embarrassment at UK border control…
Congrats, and good luck with the move, Squishy (and Eva)!
bq. _I trust Squishy Cow is up to date with her vaccinations (no pun intended or delivered) so as to avoid any embarrassment at UK border control…_
Surely the problem will be more significant when she wants to leave the UK?
Slow ascent to fame?! My impression was that Squishy Cow had exploded onto the scene like, well, an exploding cow.
All of the squishy cows, horses and other members of the squishy menagerie where I work are applauding.
Good luck with the move Squishy – make sure you keep Eva organized, ‘kay?
What does it sound like when squishy animals applaud? Doofdoofdoofdoof?

[more or less]
How cute 🙂 A hibernating squishy cow… at least there will be less hibernating in the future since the UK is less cold than Toronto. Wetter maybe, but surely cows like rain?! Even squishy ones? 😉
